Akhilesh Yadav to replace Mohammad Hafeez ahead of Pakistan’s crucial match against New Zealand

The news has come as a shock for Pakistan, self proclaimed all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez won’t be playing the next T-20 match against New Zealand. Pakistan Cricket Board approached Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and requested him to play in place of Hafeez.

Impressed by Akhilesh Yadav’s rapid 65 runs against IAS XI, Pakistani skipper Shahid Afridi & coach Waqar Younis have mutually agreed to include Akhilesh in playing XI. In a press conference at Mohali, Waqar Younis said, ‘Akhilesh Yadav has been in good form. He made 65 runs, which is more than double of our Top 5 batsmen in recent times. Also, he’s been Man of the Match in all the four matches played between UP CM XI and IAS XI.’

(It has been reported that the IAS officer who took wicket of Akhilesh Yadav has been suspended and the one who hit boundaries to Akhilesh has been transferred to Andaman & Nicobar.)

Skipper Shahid Afridi said, ‘Alhamdulillah, Akhilesh bhai has been playing well & he scores more runs in 1 match than I score in 1 year. It would be great to have him in the squad. Also, since Dimple bhabhi would be there, we’ll get to see a new Khawateen, as we are bored of seeing Sania bhabhi from last so many years.’ (SIC)

THB correspondent Bajrangi spoke to Akhilesh Yadav for the confirmation, Akhilesh Yadav said, ‘Yes, Pakistan team has approached me to bat in place of Mohd Hafeez, however, I’ve told them to deposit Rs. 25 Lacs as extortion match fees. They said that they’ll crowd-source it from Pakistani awaam & the US. I’ve made it clear, that in case of non-payment, I would keep Hafeez & hand him over to Modi Ji.’

Bajrangi asked, whether Akhilesh would also bowl, to which Akhilesh replied, ‘Of course, I’m a great swing bowler. My nose tells me the wind direction & it helps me in getting desired swing’.

Before leaving CM residence, Bajrangi made a comment “Hafeez, wasn’t involved in 26/11 attacks” after which Bajrangi was thrown out of CM residence.
