Shahid Afridi Set to be the Next Brand Ambassador for Incredible India

Impressed by his statements about getting more love in India, than Pakistan, The Tourism & Culture Ministry of Central Government of India decided to appoint Pakistan T20 captain Shahid Afridi as Brand Ambassador for ‘Incredible India’ campaign.

We’re mightily impressed by Shahid Afridi’s statement of how he’s received more love from Indians, than Pakistanis’, said Culture Minister Mr. Mahesh Sharma, when THB contacted him.

Our sources also confirmed, that Shahid Afridi has already signed the contract & apparently, he’s also done his photoshoot for the campaign at some prominent Indian monuments (See the images below)

When THB contacted Shahid Afridi about his appointment as ‘Incredible India’’s Brand Ambassador, Shahid said, ‘Mashallah…The Boys played well, the ball started turning, Pitch was good…’. We interrupted him midway & asked him, ‘Shahid Bhai, aapko Incredible India ka brand ambassador banke kaisa lag raha hai?’, to which he said, ‘Ohh, jab bhi Angrezi bolni hoti hai, mujhe yahi yaad rehta hai. Mujhe achcha lag raha hai, Allah ka shukr hai ki mujhe Hindustani hukumat ne iss kaabil samjha. Main videsh ghoom ghoom kar bataaunga, how intolerant incredible India is.

When we asked him how long would he want to be the ‘Incredible India’ brand ambassador, Shahid Afridi said, that it would certainly be more than his longest innings in any form of cricket. ‘It would be more than 8 runs off 5 balls type of my typical innings. Inshallah, this would last longer than most innings of Pakistani batsmen. Jokes apart, I hope to be part of this campaign for next 2,700 years, till I reach 60 years of age’.

Let’s hope Shahid Afridi is certain in his new duty after the ICC World T20 is over, unlike his last 20 years of getting confused between being a bowler who can bat, batsman who can bowl or a Pakistani cricketer who can speak English.
